Corned Beef And Pickle Toastie

What’s a more classic store cupboard essential than corned beef?! Teamed with bread, some pickle and with the help of a Sandwich Cage, you have yourself a quick and delicious lunch.

Corned Beef And Pickle Toastie

Created by one of our in-store demonstrators, this tasty recipe is made of ingredients you might find in your kitchen cupboards.

Ingredients
  • 2 x medium slices of bread
  • 3 x slices corned beef (tinned)
  • Pickle (spread or fresh pickles)
  • Butter or olive oil

Method
  • Drizzle oil or spread butter on each slice of bread
  • Place one slice of bread oil side down on the Sandwich Cage
  • Lay the slices of corned beef on the bread
  • Spread or add the pickle onto the corned beef
  • Take the second slice of bread and place on top, oil side up
  • Toast for 3 minutes or until golden brown

Top tips:

  • Add a slice of cheese for extra flavour
  • Add sauerkraut instead of pickle for a classic Reuben sandwich
