Mince Pies are an essential treat for the festive period but have you ever tried a Mince Pie toastie?
2 Slices of brioche bread or a brioche roll cut in half
1/2 tablespoon of Mincemeat
Flatten both slices of the brioche with your hands.
Spread a thin layer of mincemeat onto one slice of brioche.
Sandwich with second slice of brioche.
Place in the sandwich cage.
Toast for 20 to 30 seconds or until lightly golden (caution: it will be hot!) then unplug your toaster.
Cut in half to serve and lightly dust with a mix of icing sugar and ground cinnamon.
