Corned Beef And Pickle Toastie
What’s a more classic store cupboard essential than corned beef?! Teamed with bread, some pickle and with the help of a Sandwich Cage, you have yourself a quick and delicious lunch.

Created by one of our in-store demonstrators, this tasty recipe is made of ingredients you might find in your kitchen cupboards.
Ingredients
- 2 x medium slices of bread
- 3 x slices corned beef (tinned)
- Pickle (spread or fresh pickles)
- Butter or olive oil
Method
- Drizzle oil or spread butter on each slice of bread
- Place one slice of bread oil side down on the Sandwich Cage
- Lay the slices of corned beef on the bread
- Spread or add the pickle onto the corned beef
- Take the second slice of bread and place on top, oil side up
- Toast for 3 minutes or until golden brown
Top tips:
- Add a slice of cheese for extra flavour
- Add sauerkraut instead of pickle for a classic Reuben sandwich
