This is a popular as a breakfast smoothie in Brazil, where it is known as Vitamina de Abacate.This can be made in the Hand Blender using the blending wand and mixing jug or in the Dualit Blender.

Ingredients

  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tsp honey

 

Method

  1. Halve the avocado, remove skin and de-stone.
  2. Place in the blender with the almond milk and honey and blend until a smooth consistency is reached.
  3. Pour over ice and add more honey if desired.

Tip: Add a chopped banana or pear to add to the taste and raise the vitamin content.
