It's important that your baby gets plenty of iron from six months, and chicken thigh meat (those lovely dark bits) is a fantastic source. Paired with veggies and a dash of cinnamon, little ones will love this simple Moroccan medley.

Method
  1. Peel the sweet potato and then chop it and the chicken into small cubes.
  2. Add the dried apricots and steam for 10 minutes. I'm using the Dualit Baby Food Maker which has a handy steamer basket.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes, spinach and a pinch of cinnamon then steam for another 10 minutes.
  4. Blend the ingredients for 1 minute. The Dualit Baby Food Maker has a simple blender function.
