Garlic and thyme roast potatoes are not just a side dish; they are a testament to the power of simplicity and the magic that can be conjured in Dualit's Air Fryer.

Garlic and Thyme Roasties

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Air Fryer Setting: Vegetables

Temperature: 190°

Cooking Time: 25 minutes



  • 1kg peeled and washed potatoes cut into even sized pieces
  • 1L salted water
  • 2 x garlic cloves
  • 2 x tbsp olive oil
  • 2-3 rosemary sprigs
  • 4g fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • 25g butter
  • 25g rock salt or salt flakes
  • Salt and Pepper



  1. Microwave or boil the potatoes in salted water until just softened. Drain the water using a colander.
  2. Add the butter and cornflour to the potatoes in the colander and shake to combine and cover all the potatoes - this should create rough edges.
  3. Line a large baking tray with grease proof paper.
  4. Chop the thyme, garlic and rock salt and add to the baking sheet.
  5. Place the potatoes onto the baking sheet and drizzle the olive oil over the top, use your hands to mix into the chopped garlic and herbs.
  6. Place into the Air Fryer Crisper Tray for 15 minutes.
  7. Shake the potatoes every 5 minutes to ensure even roasting.
