Dual Fuel (Protein Smoothie Breakfast Ice Cream)

Who said you can't have Ice Cream for breakfast? Meet Dual Fuel – the ultimate breakfast-inspired treat to kick-start your summer mornings. Dreamed up by our work experience students, this delicious recipe proves that breakfast can be a whole lot sweeter!
Ingredients
190ml Full fat milk
140ml Cream
200g Frozen berries
1tbsp Protein powder
1tbsp Honey
50g Oats
1 Banana
1 Dualit Dark Chocolate Chunk Sachet (or 12g dark chocolate)
2tsp Vanilla extract (optional)

Method
For the Ice Cream:
Into the Dualit VortecS Blender , add the milk, cream, frozen berries, protein powder, honey, oats, banana and chocolate chunks.
Place the lid on the blender and turn blender on to medium speed.
Blend until smooth.
Turn on the Ice Cream Maker , add the mixture to the Bowl and select the Cream/Gelato/Sorbet function.
Set the timer to your desired length, we recommend 50 to 60 minutes.

Top Tips: Pre-cool the Bowl using the Cooling function for 10 minutes before you add ingredients and select your required function. This will bring down the temperature of the Ice Cream Maker and speeds up the freezing process. Carry this out whilst you’re preparing your mixture, to save time.
