Vegan Hot cross tear and share bun round (marmalade)

Vegan hot cross bun tear and share (don't share ) buns.
Serves: 6 Preparation Time: 20 minutes Cooking Time: 25 minutes

Hot cross buns which are filled with homemade marmalade.


  • 300g Strong white bread flour
  • 75g Plant Butter
  • 25g Soft brown sugar
  • 1 Tsp Mixed spice
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 7g Dried Yeast
  • 75ml Almond milk warmed
  • 50ml water lukewarm
  • 100g thick/Thin cut marmalade
  • For the pastry cross.
  • 50g Plain or SR flour
  • 20g Plant butter
  • 2 Tsp Castor sugar
  • 3-4 Tablespoons cold water.
  • Agave syrup to glaze.
