Try the classic finger shape or use biscuit cutters to
personalise.
Ingredients
200g butter (room temperature) cut into cubes
100g caster sugar
300g x plain flour (sifted)
Method
Heat oven to 160C/140F.
Grease or line baking tray with greaseproof paper.
Beat butter and sugar until smooth using a Hand Mixer.
Very gently mix in the flour.
Using your hands, squeeze the dough into a ball.
Roll the dough to 5mm thick and shape using a biscuit cutter or
cut into fingers.
Place on a baking tray and chill in the fridge for 15
minutes.
Sprinkle each biscuit with a little sugar and bake for 15-20
minutes.
Cool on wire rack.
