Hot cross bun and butter chocolate pudding.

A delicious twist on the traditional hot cross buns with added mini chocolate eggs.

Hot cross bun and chocolate butter pudding.


  • 4 x Hot cross buns
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 200ml full fat milk
  • 25g Caster sugar
  • 25g Butter. ( plus a little for greasing the dish)
  • 100ml Double cream
  • 1 Teaspoon of grated nutmeg.
  • 6-8 Hollow mini chocolate eggs. ( this allows the chocolate to ooze into the dish)
  • 1 Tablespoon of Castor sugar or Icing sugar for dusting.
  • 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla essence.
