Homemade Ginger Beer

Shop-bought ginger beers are often packed full of sugar and in some cases, alcohol. This home-made version packs a punch on the taste front without the need for any sweeteners. We've used the Dualit 700W Hand Blender to make this recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 Apple
  • Large Chunk Ginger (to taste)
  • Sparkling Water
  • Lemon or Lime Slices (to garnish)

Method
  1.  Using the Dualit 700W Hand blender and Chopping Bowl Attachment, blitz the apple and your chosen amount of ginger to chop.
  2.  Place your chopped apple and ginger into your sparkling water and seal tightly, storing in a fridge for 10-15 minutes to allow the flavours to infuse into the water.
  3.  Serve your ginger beer over ice, with lemon or lime slices to garnish.
