"You need to buy, separately. a very small spanner to fit this. Once you've obtained this, you might still be baffled, because the instructions don't relate to my model of Dualit toaster (3 slice). A nut that needs to be undone requires access from above, a box spanner maybe, as pliers wont grip the 6mm nut. So, this may be, quite literally, the greatest toasting element of all time, but until I can work out how to loosen the nuts, it's entirely useless to me."

Classic toaster elements
"All four elements arrived in- damaged. I am an electrical/electronic engineer, so felt competent to replace these myself, following the instructions( and taking photos before dismantling to show how it should all fit back together. The toaster is built to be repaired, so it was quite easy, and electrical testing showed it was safe. The elements are all much hotter now all are replaced and it toasts like new. Very Happy!"
