Easy Easter Brownies

  • 150g butter
  • 200g plain chocolate
  • 200g caster sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 80g plain flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 x Crunchie bars
  • 4 x Curly Wurlys
  • 20 x Mini eggs
  • Left over easter eggs, crushed
  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C Fan / 350°F / Gas 4. Line a 20x20cm square tin with non-stick baking paper.
  2. Measure the butter and chocolate into a bowl. Put the bowl over a pan of boiling water until melted.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the eggs, caster sugar and pinch of salt. For ease, use the Dualit Hand Mixer with flat beater attachments.
  4. Add the melted butter and chocolate and whisk again. Add the plain flour and stir until smooth.
  5. Spoon into the tin and level the top. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes.
  6. Break the chocolate bars and eggs into pieces. Scatter over the top and gentley press down. Put back into the oven for 5 minutes to melt slightly.
  7. Cool and slice into squares. Enjoy!
