Roasted Pepper Sauce

Dualit's roasted pepper sauce is a culinary gem that transforms simple ingredients into a rich and luscious masterpiece.

Roasted Pepper Sauce

Air Fryer Setting: Manual

Temperature: 190°

Cooking Time: 15 minutes



  • 1 x pack mixed capsicum peppers
  • 1 large red onion
  • 250g cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 red chilli or 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1-2 tbsp sweet balsamic
  • Salt & pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or fry light



  1. Slice and cut the peppers into identical sized pieces.
  2. Peel and roughly chop the onion and garlic clove.
  3. Cut the tomatoes in half and add to bowl with the chilli flakes, smoked paprika, olive oil, salt & pepper and combine.
  4. Gently spoon the mix onto the preheated trivet in the Air Fryer Crisper Plate and cook for 15 minutes. 
  5. Halfway through the cooking time, pause the Air Fryer, shake the tray and then return to finish cooking. 
  6. Remove mixture from the Air Fryer and allow to cool.
  7. Place the mixture into the Hand Blender Jug with the balsamic and tomato puree. Blend until smooth.
  8. Stir the sauce into pasta or spread on toast.
