Raspberry Hearts

Taking just 10 minutes to prep and 15 minutes in the oven, try your hand at these raspberry filled, puff pastry tarts for a sweet treat to enjoy on Valentine's Day.

Makes 6 filled hearts


Baked with love, these raspberry puree filled puff pastry hearts are sure to impress the one you love this Valentine's Day. Created especially for Dualit by @rebeccacooks_, the Hand Blender blitzes the raspberry puree until perfectly smooth for a luxuriously velvety consistency.


  1. Preheat oven to 180ºC.
  2. Add the raspberries, lime juice, sugar and vanilla essence to the Hand Blender chopping bowl and blend until combined.
  3. Using a heart shaped cookie cutter, cut out 12 heart shapes from the rolled puff pastry.
  4. Add a spoonful of the raspberry puree to one heart shape and cover with another piece of pastry.
  5. Crimp the edges with a fork to seal and brush a light coating of egg wash and a sprinkling of sugar.
  6. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until crisp and golden in colour.
  7. Dust icing sugar over the tarts before serving.
