Irish Coffee

Make a traditional Irish liqueur coffee for the perfect way to end dinner, or as a warming treat on a cold day.

Irish whiskey comes together with freshly brewed coffee, brown sugar and lightly whipped cream - ideal for celebrations, cold winter evenings and days where you fancy something a little stronger.

Ingredients
  • 1 Measure Irish Whiskey
  • 1 Cup Freshly Brewed Coffee
  • 1 tsp Brown Sugar
  • Lightly Whipped Double Cream

Method
  1. Pre-warm your cup or glass by filling with hot water and then discarding.
  2. Brew a cup of your favourite coffee. We recommend our Intense AluminiumĀ Capsules made in the Dualit Espress-Auto or 3 in 1 Coffee Machine.
  3. Stir in the sugar until dissolved, then stir in the whiskey.
  4. Pour in the lightly whipped cream over the back of a spoon for a good finish, up to the top of the cup.
  5. Decorate with coffee beans if you wish.

  • To make this vegan, use a plant based whipped cream (and double check that your whiskey has no honey in it!).
