A bright, zesty juice that will 'kick-start' your day on the right setting!

Ingredients
- 2 oranges (peeled, but keep as much of the pith as possible)
- 3 large carrots
- 1 apple or 1 banana if making a smoothie
- 1/3 unwaxed lemon (rind on)
- Chunk of ginger (thumb size)

Method
1. Juice the oranges slowly on the lower setting of your juicer.
2. Switch the juicer to the higher setting and juice the carrots, apple, ginger and lemon.
3. Pour this juice over ice and serve.
4. To make this a Carrot Kick Smoothie, juice the oranges, carrots, lemon and ginger (leave out the apple), then add to a blender with a banana and some ice.
This juice is not only rich in Vitamin C, but contains ginger, which is a natural antibiotic and decongestant.
