- Preheat the oven to 150º/130º fan.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Loosen the honey by placing the jar in a bowl of hot water. This makes the mixing a lot easier and ensures the honey overs all the ingredients.
- Place the oats, nuts, fruit and seeds into a large mixing bowl.
- Add the honey and mix well with the Hand Mixer and dough hooks. Make sure all the ingredients are coated.
- Turn out the mixture onto your baking tray and spread across the tray.
- Place on the middle shelf of the oven and bake for 20-30mins. Gently give the mixture an occasional stir throughout the baking process.
- When you take the baking tray out of the oven, carefully scrunch the mixture to the middle of the tray. If using parchment paper, pull the four corners of the paper together. This will allow some of the mixture to stick together and form small, crunchy clusters.
- Allow to cool and then store in an airtight container.
- Serve the granola over a bowl of natural yoghurt, a cup of milk or blend with ice cold milk and fresh fruit for a smoothie.

Top tips:
- Try using dried prunes, apricots or your favourite dried fruits in place of sultanas and dates.
- Brown sugar can be used in place of honey. Simply mix two tablespoons of brown sugar with one tablespoon of hot water and stir to dissolve a little.
- Honey and sugar content will burn faster, so keep an eye on your bake.
