Baba Ganoush

Baba Ganoush is a delicious Levantine starter or dip that is made with roasted aubergines, lemon juice, garlic, tahini and lots of seasoning. Dualit's Air Fryer and Hand Blender make this an easy dish to master! 

Baba Ganoush

Products Used: Hand Blender and Air Fryer



  • 2 Medium sized aubergines
  • Half a bulb of garlic
  • Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Tahini
  • Kosher salt
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice or to taste
  • Chopped parsley and pomegranate seeds to garnish



  1. Set the Air Fryer to 200c
  2. Cut aubergines in half, sprinkle cut sides with salt and let them sit for 20 to 30 minutes. Blot dry with kitchen towel.
  3. Brush cut sides of the aubergines with olive oil.
  4. Cut bottom off garlic. Brush with olive oil and wrap in aluminium foil.
  5. Place both aubergine and garlic into the Air Fryer. Cook for up to 20 mins or until golden and remove.
  6. Once the aubergine and garlic have cooled, scoop out the aubergine flesh and dispose of the skin. Add the flesh to Dualit’s Hand Blender chopping bowl.
  7. Add 2-3 garlic cloves, and more to taste if desired.
  8. Add tahini, lemon juice and olive oil to the chopping bowl.
  9. Pulse until you have a smooth consistency.
  10. Serve in a dish and top with a drizzle of olive oil, sprinkle of parsley and pomegranate seeds.


Tip: If you want a smokier taste add paprika.
