All Dualit appliances, bought directly from us, come with a hassle-free domestic, one-year guarantee period. If replacement parts are fitted to the product this will not extend the period of the guarantee. The guarantee covers both parts and labour but carriage is not included.

"Who makes hot chocolate for one? So if you're Billy No-mates then sure, buy yourself one of the brands that only makes one cup at a time. A tale of two parts!

"Firstly and most importantly it makes a great hot chocolate , rich and luxurious which is what I purchased it for. So yes it absolutely does what I required. Great capacity, easy to clean and use. Delivery was slower than expected. However I am disappointed that it is plastic, having been a Dualit customer for many years, you do expect certain standards, which I feel lack in the build materials. It does look inferior sitting along side or even near my Dualit kettle and toaster. Dualit made the original Velvetiser for a high street chocolate retailer, that looked good in my kitchen alongside Dualit appliances, so why have you cheapened your offering?"

"I have a number of Dualit products, toasters, scales, coffee grinders, kettle and thought that I would purchase this as an alternative to another popular model. Mixed thoughts on this one; first use out of the box. Pros - larger capacity and more versatile with choice of degree of frothing. Nice temperature of hot chocolate. Haven't tried the cold option yet. Comprehensive instructions. Cons - didn't seem to froth as much as the well known opposition although the amount of frothing may be a result of the amount of milk in the machine. The rotary dial feels a little cheap and fragile. Time will tell."

Great but doesn’t last long

"I bought my first one in December and fell in love, it was perfect, until it died earlier this month, one morning it just wouldn’t turn on. So I returned it and got another one…. The second one lasted a week. Turned it on one morning and there was a burning smell and it died. It wasn’t as if the frother was being overused, we were making 1-2 drinks a day. Really poor quality item"

Fab frother max

"Love this! Great for varying milk frothing for coffee and especially flat whites. My teenagers made the hot chocolate and love it. Made with Knoops chocolate nibs and added real chocolate which worked brilliantly. Sometimes run it twice to melt the chocolate fully but so happy with this purchase. It looks good on the sifde and is so easy to clean. . just a quick rinse after use and done. Ordering and delivery were great from dualit and so I am very happy. I bought my kids the smaller versions and they love those too and have used daily since Christmas with joy!"
