Strawberry Sparkle

We love this light and refreshing take on strawberry lemonade - best served chilled or frozen with a little bit of bubbly!

Strawberry Sparkle

Fresh strawberries, sweet lemonade and a sprig of mint have your tastebuds tingling with this Strawberry Sparkle drink. We've used the Dualit 700W Hand Blender in this recipe to puree the strawberries for a smooth and velvety finish!

Ingredients
  • 1 Large Punnet of Fresh Strawberries (approx. 250g)
  • 1 Litre Bottle of Lemonade
  • Juice of Half a Lemon
  • Mint Sprig

Method
  1. Wash and remove the stalks of the strawberries, and place into the Dualit 700W Hand Blender jug.
  2. Using the blender shaft, puree the strawberries until you have achieved a smooth consistency.
  3. Set the blender shaft aside before slowly adding the lemonade to the pureed strawberries. Ensure to stir continuously throughout.
  4. Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon, add the sprig of mint and serve over crushed ice!

Tips...

  • To add a fruity twist to your pre-dinner drinks, freeze your Strawberry Sparkle in an ice cube tray and add to the bottom of your glass before topping up with champagne or prosecco.
