Hocus Pocus Cocktail

A sweet mix of fruit juice to tantalise your taste buds, with a hint of whiskey to warm you through.

Hocus Pocus Cocktail

A fruity blend of orange, lemon and pineapple, blended with ice using the Dualit 700W Hand Blender. You can also use Dualit's VortecS Blender to make this tasty drink. Lengthen with champagne, or strengthen with whiskey for a bittersweet sensation.

Ingredients
  • 100ml Fresh Orange Juice
  • 100ml Pineapple Juice
  • 1 Shot of Sugar Syrup or Honey
  • Juice and Zest of 1 Whole Lemon
  • Ice Cubes
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1 Shot Whiskey per Serve

Method
  1. Pour all of the ingredients except the whiskey into a large bowl, or the jug attachment of the Dualit 700W Hand Blender.
  2. Using the Dualit 700W Hand Blender, blend all of the ingredients for 30-40 seconds.
  3. Use a sieve to strain off any large chunks of ice cubes and pour the mix into highball glasses.
  4. Add one shot of whiskey to each glass.

Tips...

  • As an alternative, pour the fruit juice mixture into a champagne flute, filling it up two thirds of the way. Then, top with champagne or proscecco.
