- Put the flour, butter and a third of the icing sugar in a bowl and bring together using your hands.

Mix in the sugar, vanilla and no egg replacer yolks.

Place the mixture onto the work top and knead until a dough has formed.

Place the dough in the fridge and chill for 30 mins.

Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.

Dust your worktop with flour and roll out the dough.

Cut 20 biscuits from the dough with a round biscuit cutter.

Transfer to the prepared baking tray, and bake for 10-12 mins or until lightly golden brown around the edges.

Leave to cool completely.

Mix the remaining icing sugar with 2-3 tsp of water to make a very thick icing.

Use a spoon to drizzle the icing sugar over the top of 10 biscuits then top each with one a glacé cherry, then leave to set.

Spread the jam over the remaining 10 and sandwich together with the iced halves.
