Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 4
Temperature: 180°
Air Fryer Setting: Bake
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
375g pack ready rolled puff pastry
3 x sweet apples (bramley cooking apples are great)
1 tbsp light brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
50g melted butter
Method:
Peel, core and chop the apples into small pieces and place the chopped apples into a bowl.
Stir in the brown sugar and ground cinnamon with the chopped apples. Cover the bowl and allow the apples to marinate, to absorb the flavours.
Unroll the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 4 equal squares.
Spoon the marinated apple mixture into the middle of each puff pastry square.
Brush the edges of the puff pastry with melted butter. Fold the pastry over the apples, forming a triangle. Press down the edges to seal them together.
Make 2 or 3 small cuts across the top of each pastry turnover. Brush the top of each turnover with more melted butter, to give them a golden and glossy finish.
Carefully place the turnovers into the Air Fryer Crisper Tray. Cook them for 20 minutes, turning them over halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning.
Once the turnovers are golden brown and cooked through, carefully remove them from the Air Fryer. Allow them to cool slightly before serving.

Top tips: smaller pastries can be made in place of 4 large ones. Try filling with Nutella or spinach and feta cheese for a savoury option.
