The juicer does not turn on
The juicer does not turn on
  • The unit may not be properly connected to the power supply. Check the plug is in the socket and the switch is turned on.
  • The juicer hasn't been assembled correctly. Switch off and unplug the appliance, see page 7 of the instruction manual to set up your juicer.

Unpleasant smell or noise
Unpleasant smell or noise
  • The motor unit gives off an unpleasantsmell the first few times the appliance is used. This is not unusual. If the appliance continues to give off this smell after a few times, check the quantities you are processing and the processing time. After the appliance has been running for 2 minutes, switch it off and let it cool down for 2 minutes.
  • The appliance makes a lot of noise, continues to give off an unpleasant smell, is too hot to touch, gives off smoke, etc. Switch off the appliance and unplug it. Contact the Dualit customer helpline on +44 (0)1293 652 500 or your authorised service centre.

  • The pulp container is full. Empty the pulp container.
  • Pulp is caught in the juicer lid. Stop juicing, switch off the appliance and unplug it, remove the juicer lid and clean out pulp (see page 10 of the instruction manual). Try a slower juicing action - guide the plunger down the feed tube in a slow downward motion.
  • Stainless steel micro mesh filter is blocked with excess pulp. After extended juicing of fibrous fruit and vegetables the mesh on the filter may need to be cleaned. Stop juicing, switch off the appliance and unplug it, disassemble the juicer and clean the micro mesh filter.

  • Large amounts of highly fibrous fruit and vegetables have caused excess pulp to build up in the micro mesh filter. Stop juicing, switch off the appliance and unplug it, remove the juicer lid and clean out pulp (see page 10 of the instruction manual).

The juicer is vibrating strongly
The juicer is vibrating strongly
  • The micro mesh filter may be touching the feeding tube and is vibrating strongly during processing. Switch off the appliance and unplug it. Check if the micro mesh filter is placed properly in the work bowl. The ribs in the bottom of the filter have to fit properly onto the driving shaft. Check if the filter is damaged; cracks, crazes, a loose grating disc or any other irregularity may cause malfunction. Contact Dualit on +44 (0)1293 652 500 or your authorised service centre.
