Ensure the plug is correctly inserted and that the main ON/OFF switch located on the back of the radio is in the ON position. If not using the mains supply, check the battery is charged.
This indicates that the DAB signal is not strong enough. Ensure the aerial is fully extended and try tuning in to the station frequency manually. If this fails, move the radio to a location with a better signal. You can check the DAB coverage in the UK by going to www.ukdigitalradio.com/
We do not stock spare speakers. If you connect your own extension speaker, it needs to be 8 Ohm Impedance. With regards to the connections, the radio will be the left channel and the extension speaker the right channel. The sound will change from mono to true stereo sound once the speaker is plugged in.
The clock may reset if the power adaptor is disconnected or the battery is flat. Connect the power adaptor and tune into a DAB station; this will automatically reset the time. Alternatively, you can manually reset the time.
Although the aerial is a replaceable part, since the discontinuation of the radio, spare aerials can no longer be obtained from Dualit.
