When the water tank is empty, from new or after storing, it can take a while for the pump to prime. Ensure the water tank is full to max and turn on the machine. The pump will run and water should come out of the coffee spout. This could take from 30 seconds to one minute. If the water does not come out of the spout after this time, the power light will flash and so will the hot water button. Press the hot water button and the pump will run. Allow the pump to run until water comes out the Steam Nozzle. This may take over a minute. If it takes longer than 2 minutes, turn off the machine and repeat the above process. If it still does not work, contact Dualit customer Services on 01293 652500.
