Prepare the following ingredients as a tasty topping for a pizza using the Tomato Bread recipe as the base. Add fresh salami or ham for a meat eater's treat.
small tin tomatoes
20g tomato puree
1 spring onion
2 fresh tomatoes
20g mozzarella cheese
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp Worcester sauce
1 green pepper
1 red onion
12 sun dried tomatoes in oil
fresh olive oil
Using the small bowl fitted with its chopping blade, mix the
tinned tomatoes, tomato puree, 1 fresh tomato, spring onion,
oregano, black pepper, salt and Worcester sauce to make a sauce for
the pizza.
Slice the pepper, onion and 1 fresh tomato in the large bowl using
the slicing disc adjusted to thick.
Roll out the Tomato Bread dough onto two oiled baking trays making
the bases approximately 27cm wide.
Spread the pizza sauce across the dough leaving a small crust all
the way around.
Top with the sliced peppers, onions, fresh tomato and drained sun
dried tomatoes.
Tear the mozzarella cheese into strips and sprinkle on the
top.
Drizzle with oil.
Bake in a preheated oven on 200ºC/Gas Mark 6 for approximately 20
minutes or until golden brown.
