Fish and chips from frozen in 30 minutes is quicker than going
to the chippy, unless you live next door!
Take advantage of oven chips and ready prepared fish steaks to get
this on the table with no fuss or mess.
4 handfuls of oven chips - or quantity as required, although
they must spread out in a single layer.
2 ready prepared, frozen breaded fish steaks
Set oven to 230ºC, select Convection, rack positions C.
Oven chips need to be cooked at a high temperature. Heat is all
important. The Dualit mini oven heats to a higher temperature than
many larger ovens and the 230ºC temperature is ideal.
Put the fish on the grill tray leaving space between the two
pieces. Place in the oven and wait until the oven light turns green
again before putting in the chips.
Put the grill tray in the oven tray and spread out the chips in a
single layer, leaving a little space in between so they can crisp
up.
When the chips are in, cook everything for 25 minutes.
Serve straight away while the chips are crisp.
