Dualit again won the coveted "Plugged In" category at this year's Excellence in Housewares awards, held at The Lancaster London on October 7th.

The awards are organised by Progressive Housewares magazine, in conjunction with the Cookshop & Housewares Association to honour the industry's finest housewares retailers and products.

We were delighted to welcome BBC Radio 4 journalist, Peter White, to Dualit recently. Peter spent time interviewing the father and son team behind Dualit, Leslie and Alex Gort-Barten, as part of a series on family firms airing on the You and Yours programme.

As well as chatting to Alex and Leslie, Peter had a tour of the factory where the famous Classic Toaster is made and got the chance to try our unique "crunch test", where we check that our toasters are making perfect toast!
