Dualit is delighted to announce its collaboration with British textile designer, Kit Miles to develop a striking panel pack for its Architect Kettle and Toaster collection.
An industry first, Dualit's interchangeable panels are screwed onto the appliances allowing easy customisation. New for 2017, the design features the modern and exuberant Biophillia pattern, which is a signature hand drawing by Kit Miles and depicts dragonflies, surreal plants and flora in glorious shades of blue and ochre. The pattern is applied to the panels through a specialised hand finished process in the Dualit factory in West Sussex. The panel packs will be available for the Dualit Architect Two and Four Slice Toasters, as well as the Dualit Architect Kettle, all priced at £24.95.
Founder of the Kit Miles Studio, Kit Miles says, "It has been thrilling to work with Dualit. When this journey started we asked ourselves the simple question of how we could add value to the successful Architect range and I absolutely believe we have achieved that. The Biophillia pattern encapsulates our approach of exuberant design and excellence in drawing, and works so brilliantly when it is applied to the panels. We all agree it accentuates the great design of the Dualit Architect collection."
A range of interchangeable panels in a selection of colours and designs including bluebellgray and Charlene Mullen are available for both the Architect Kettle and Toasters, allowing users to transform their appliances whenever their personal style dictates.
Marketing & PR Executive at Dualit, Debbie McIvor-Main says, "Over the last three years, we have enjoyed working with talented and passionate British designers on our Architect collection. Kit's creative and inventive spirit, together with his passion for craftsmanship is reflective of our own design ethos at Dualit. There was a wealth of eclectic designs that we were drawn to and it was a struggle to choose just one but the Biophilia pattern is so visually striking and completely different from anything we have offered before. We are sure it will be a big hit with our customers."
