Designed and made in Britain the toaster offers modern functionality with Dualit's exceptional timeless style. Dualit has been working with John Lewis since the 1950s, a partnership that spans three generations of the Dualit founders, the Gort-Barten family. When Will Jones, John Lewis senior buyer presented the exceptional opportunity to develop a product especially for the 150 year anniversary, Dualit were perfectly placed to react swiftly to this request and the 'Origins' toaster was born!

The new design will be based on the iconic Dualit Classic Toaster and will draw on the very best of Dualit design and product engineering from the 1940s to the present day. From the grooves on the chassis inspired by the first ever Dualit toaster to the modern patented ProHeat® elements, the 'Origins Toaster' is the elite of modern toasters!

Each 'Origins' toaster is Hand built in Britain at Dualit's factory in West Sussex by skilled craftsman. A dedicated engineering team drew on 69 years of experience in manufacturing toasters to develop the Origins toaster. With fully repairable and replaceable parts and the virtually unbreakable patented ProHeat® elements, the Origins Toaster promises to deliver Dualit core values of durability and style.
