Thought to originate from the time of Anglo-Saxons, Pancake Day, or Shrove Tuesday, is the traditional feast day before the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday, typically celebrated by the consumption of pancakes.
Whilst lemon and sugar is a classic combination for the traditional pancake, here at Dualit we like to do things a little differently. We've put together some suggestions for how you can take the flavours of some traditional baked goods and savoury dishes and apply them to our Basic Pancake recipe to make this Shrove Tuesday more exciting and delicious.
