Wrong way
"Hi, as you know I recently bought toaster elements from you. Since I mounted them in the toaster the first slot in the toaster only seem to toast on the right side. The left side (End element) doesn't heat. So my question is if the end element is supposed to be mounted in a specific way and if I have managed to mount it wrong. I mean, the end elelement can only be mounted in two ways. . ! Please advice! Regards //Joakim Nyman"

"End element had a plastic film which was torn causing a difficulty in installation. Also the element doesn’t toast as well as the original, causing a greater mismatch. I have a friend who changed the same element and encountered the same result Otherwise, the service is good."

"My toaster needed attention and after a bit of research I discovered what was needed. Ordered the part direct from Dualit, arrived quickly and in excellent condition. I was surprised by the cost, I thought being a specialist item I expected the cost to be premium but it was very good. Just to add I've never replaced an element in a toaster before, I'm very much a novice DIY'er, but I've fixed the problem with ease. Would recommend"
Difficult to repair toaster
"I have been advised by an experienced electrical repairer that Dualit is usually one of the better brands to be repaired, however unfortunately it seems the 4 slot toaster that I have is one of the newer models than from the past. I suggest that Dualit focus on making their products more easily repairable, because the end element was not working and it took someone many hours to disassemble the toaster, fit a new piece of wire and the reassemble the toaster. As mentioned easier this was done by someone who already had strong electrical repair skills and had fixed multiple toasters in the past"

Hasn’t solved the problem
"My family have complained since we bought the toaster that the end filament didn’t work properly so I finally decided to get a replacement. Unfortunately it hasn’t helped at all and as I am out of warranty, I regret not doing something sooner about getting the dodgy end fixed. My first Dualit was amazing, but this second (new series) one has not lived up to its predecessor."
