Dualit is what everybody in the restaurant industry uses. They’re just really durable, they really last.
When we opened Zafferano, it was owned by Trusthouse, who used to do breakfasts, and they had this 6 slice Dualit toaster. Of course, being Italian, the staff used to grill the bread by hand, so it never got used. They ended up leaving it behind, so we took it home. It was already so old, so heavy, but it lasted several years. Now we have this smaller one.
